Cant access my own server? ( not a noob post read before posting please ) - Printable Version

Cant access my own server? ( not a noob post read before posting please ) - Mark_Weston - 06.07.2011

Hey there, this is not a noob post.

1.I DID portforword
2.I played on my own server 5 minutes ago
3.I did restart my Internet
4.I did DMZ mode
5.I did run samp as admin
6.I try to go on 127.0.0.1
7.I DONT have any FIREWALL, or I dont have any ANTIVIRUSES.
8.Got any suggestions and no spam posts? Please help

Title says all, I cant access my own server.

127.0.0.1 and my own real ip both dont work.

open command prompt and type ipconfig then go to your router and check to see if the port you opened is the same to the one on ipconfig ex: 192.168.1.[THIS LAST NUMBER CHANGES SOMETIMES] so check that one.

Spam post... I did port forward, I stated that read #1

anyway, for some WIERD reason my router/modem says that I am not online? 0_o

How is that spam post? If you can't get it then have your internet company reset your network done.

What port did you run it on? Maybe put :xxxx (x=Port number)? SA-MP assumes when you put the IP without the port, it puts 7777.

Yup I did, the server shows that its online. But I can't access it?
I tried 7777 and 8888 none work.

You mean you can see your server is online, but when you try to join it said "Didn;t respond" or etc.?
