Hi,
I have GTA SA v1 on my Mac and I downloaded and installed SAMP through Crossover it works fine until I click connect on any server. It loads but just comes up as a white screen. It doesn't crash because I can close it fine but yeah...
Any thoughts on how to get it working?
1) SA-MP version
SA-MP 0.3c R3 Client
2) Windows version
Mac OS X 10.6.8
3) Video card type
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M:
4) IP:Port (if any) of the server you are trying to play on
N/A
5) If you are crashing, paste the crash report in your post and say when the crash occurs
N/A
6) If you are crashing loading SA-MP, please say whether GTA:SA single player works (test it)
I have completed the single player mode, works perfectly. It is the Mac version which you have press the space bar a few times after the NVIDIA Logo Shows to get it started, look it up on ******* nothing unusual...
7) Do you have any other GTA:SA mods installed? e.g. new vehicles

I have the same problem when I tried to launch it on my Ubuntu server. (was just testing wine)

I remember that white screen error, and it came to a directx issue, or something like that...

Just got an idea which is the graphics on my GTA SA Single Player is atm set as custom, (I have everything set at full). But what if I set everything to default, would that make SA MP work?
About to try now, I'll let you know the result, if theres any change...

Crossover is the worst piece of software ever. Get wine. Or run windows 7 in bootcamp.
