Easiest way to make domain work - Ivan_Pantovic - 29.06.2011

First of all, sorry if I didn't post this at the right place, but I didn't find any better place to do.

I'm tired of unsuccessful attempts to make my domain work on my VPS with nameservers without a cp.
The reason is because most CP take 100-300 ram just for running, and i can get my apache working with 5 rams.

On my VPS i got 2 IPs and I got a domain registered in other company. I want to make my domain work as i used 1st (or second, i don't really car, i just need one site :P) IP. Apache is already working if I use IP in webbrowser. Is there any record i can use for this (as people use A records to make server.domain.com:7777 work etc).

PS. I need domain to work (to change domain.com/forums, not like .tk domains )

Thanks for your help!

Doesn't matter, I want to do it by configuring domain.
Anyway its CentOS/Ubuntu - can take any linux, but i prefer these.

use @ records with the ips of the server

Where have you registered your domain? You should be able to add a A record to your VPS IP. Aditional domains can be setup in vhosts.
