Internet speed question? - Outcast - 28.06.2011
My Internet speed will get limited after some time to a 64kb/s. I was wondering, would I be able to play SA-MP with that speed? Considering I shutdown all other programs. I looked at SA-MP's Internet use and I saw it goes around 40-60kb/s

You can play SA-MP at any speed, but how much it lags depends on your connection and the server.

I've played SA-MP on dileup, with under 500 ping. You will be fine!!!

lol I have played on Three (UK Mobile Network) from my phone (Made my phone into Modem) and I had ping 200 only in a UK server! xD

You'd probably have a ping higher than normal, the sync would be terribly, but in the end you would be able to play.

I've played sa-mp using a connection that ran through a GSM Cellphone
~12 Kbit/s upwards
~20 Kbit/s downwards
Ping ranged from 400 to 800 and was playable, but horrible sometimes...

The worst ping I have ever had is 4000+ on a server I normally get 20! (mobile inet+VPN)
