How to break/remove the windshield - leong124 - 14.05.2011

I'm currently trying to use the UpdateVehicleDamageStatus to add some more vehicle controls.
I find that I can't change the visual state of the windshield,but the state of it is changed.
For example I set it to "damaged" and the windshield shows the same as before, but I can break it with a shot of desert eagle(it needs 2 shots for a normal one)

The weird thing is the windshield can change its visual state to normal when I set it to normal.
So what is wrong?
