Hey
I was wondering why you should use these functions (I know what they do, yeah, I know Sinus, Cosine and Tangent...). But what I mean is; For what can I use such things? I don't see any reason for them...

It's for trigonometry, which is used for advanced math formulas. I'm assuming you could get angles, distances from points, and a lot of other junk -- If you know the formulas, that is.
