crashing when i press connect (doesnt even show the loading screen) any fixes?

Do you have any mods installed ? (vehiclemods, but also enbseries,cleo etc)

nvm fixed it was not the mods it was the cd key thing.. i had to crack

Thats pretty impressive since GTA San Andreas doesnt use an CD key.
Well the steam version maybe does... but SA-MP doesnt work on that.

Gamer you'r DUMB GTA sa runs itself on a KEY or a CRACK -.-

thimo: GTA SA runs on a DVD, there is no key for it. A crack in this case is just used as a No-CD bypass, so you don't have to run the game from a CD each time you want to play it.
