PLEASE FIX THE CLIENT!
I'm scripting my own server but i can never test it because it freezes on the SAMP logo screen.

No one else, or at least most, is experiencing this problem. Look at the common problems guide on the SA:MP Wiki and see if any of those solutions help you. If not, give us detailed information on your system and when the problems started to occur.

He's mentioning about the problem which is reported for thousands of times I think.
Press Escape button on your keyboard twice may help you.
