Making a "Connect to server" Forum Catergory - JokerNathan - 20.03.2011

Introduction

Today, I will be showing you how to make a forum catergory which when clicking on it, will take you to a box/menu asking you if you want to play on the server or add it to your favourites. I hope you enjoy the tutorial as it is my first.

Bugs Found: Some Browsers Dont Work with this method!

Step 1 : First of, You need to have a forum up and running and have created a board with a catergory in it.

Step 2 : You will also NEED a forum that has the compatibility to make a catergory as a link.

Step 3 : Fetch your server ip and port, and type this as your link:




Step 4 : Save your catergory and Test it.

Step 5: If you have done everything right then it should look like this:

doesnt work for me i did this samp:iport and iam using ****** chrome

i did samp://iport

too and i tried another samp server doing the same thing and its working why i opened the server

never mind

it doesnt work on ****** chrome (any one got it working on ****** chrome??)

it worked with me on firefix and IE

it there is any way to make it work on ****** chrome?
