Confused - captainjohn - 06.03.2011

Hello everyone, I have a problem when I try playing SA-MP

It has happened to me before but I fixed it just by re-installing GTA, it has now happened again and I re-installed GTA and SA-MP and it still doesn't work.

My Problem is when I load up SA-MP, my chatbox will start lagging, when I move my player he won't move until around 5 seconds later. Now when I drive, it's just uncontrollable, the car won't register what i'm doing until 5 seconds later and when it does, the car does random turns and then it will crash into a wall.

So I don't know what the problem is here but I know it's not my internet it's not my keyboard (recently bought a new one).
Here is a video of my situation, this video was from when it previously happened but it does the exact same thing now.

Please watch in 720p

Thanks for your time and help.

Try deleting the gta_sa.set file in GTA SA User Files?

Or

Reinstall SA-MP, and GTA SA.

To tell you the truth, I've never seen that problem before.

This could be many different things. I think it would be a good idea to test single player - as it may not be something specific to SA-MP. Install something like fraps to get an fps counter.

Happened to me before, I just restarted GTA and it fixed.

I had this exactly the other day I was cracking up.

Turns out it was a process from gtaiv eating up all my cpu at like 60-70%

Everything lagged obviously including windows explorer and internet
