...And it could always be a very random Windows error. BSoDs are pretty weird from time to time.
If you have all your important data backed up, you can try reinstalling Windows. But only after everything else's been tried, other stuff works... 20% of the time.

There could be any reason why this bs occured, by not providing us any information we can't tell you why it did occur.
