Server keeps saying unknown - HippieOnSteriods - 25.02.2011

Hello guys!

I recently bought a server host for samp to start my roleplay community BUT I uploaded ALL the goods to the host and everything but now its says the mode is unknown! How or what do I do to fix this problem please help!

It is because You is missing a file or something

Could you send us ur "server_log.txt"?

okay, the reason it say that is your script(or others script) you are using may have in the "mode" area one name the "server.cfg" has a different and if your using severFFS you "cfg" panel has a different name again the will confuse your server and will not know witch name you really need. so make sure ALL names are the same.

you will have to open the .cfg again and check the Gamemode : *Name* , and make sure that this is the same like the one in Gamemodes

I also had this problem, it was caused because my host was linux and not windows. For plugins it is important.

Windows = .dll

Linux = .so

Check this, it may be your problem.
