SA-MP Loading Screen Question - Printable Version

SA-MP Loading Screen Question - Hell_Rel - 22.02.2011

Basically im asking by putting myself as an example,
The majority of the times I access SA-MP, preparing to enter a server, the loading screen either loads or sit still. Now i've made sure i took all precautions to sit at the loading screen for 10 min., Re-install SA-MP, and Reinstalling GTA, yet it still happens. The the most annoying thing about it is when i try to Alt + tab, I cant close it, so im forced to press the windows key and guide through the flickering screen to the log out button to try and restart SA-MP again (It may or may not happen again). Now my question is, Is this happening to anyone else, Is this a common occurrence with the new updated SA-MP because with earlier SA-MP versions I definitely wasn't having this problem at all.

Best thing to do:

Un-install San Andreas AND SA-MP than re-install both of them after.

OR (I recommend doing this 2nd step FIRST)

Delete gta_sa.set file from GTA San Andreas User Files (C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files) and rejoin singleplayer or SA-MP.

The directory should be similar to that above. ^
