SA-MP Costum objects? - Guedes747 - 18.02.2011

So, after being away from SA-MP for a few months i decided to comeback, i noticed that SA-MP now can take (some sort of) costum objects. Though i've been browsing around and i can't find any info about it this new feature of SA-MP 0.3c. Someone care to explain me how it works / direct me to someplace that explains it? Thanks in advance.

PS: Im also aware of this thread but, i don't get it.

but it isn't the best way(only way though I guess) >_>

they'd have to download your custom files(no auto download)
to see your custom objects
also I don't think there is a possibility to check if your custom objects are used..

yea, GamerX has the best tutorials for those sorts of things. In the SAMP folder there is CUSTOM.img and CUSTOM.ide and those are empty (should be) so you can use your own objects.

Thanks fellas, ill look it out. I might start making maps on ****** Sketchup / 3D Studio max.. lets hope its easyer than it sounds.

they seriously need to add auto download. or most of the players will for sure dont waste time on going to the host downloading it.

Yes agreed, but as mentioned before, Kalcor believes if it were that way, it could be easily abused by the server owners. Thats why he made it the way it is at the moment. Eighter ways im happy SA-MP can now take costum objects, it will make it more fun to play.
