LSPD Database - flo - 09.02.2011

Here's my edited version of HESK. I've been editing it to work as a LSPD Database to keep track of crimes and criminals. The idea was to have officers post whenever they're looking for someone or have arrested a criminal. There might be easier ways today such as UCPs etc. to do this, but it's working good and doesn't require any other coding work. I've been using it for nearly a year and it made things really easy. You can search the database for criminals and determine whether someone is wanted, has been arrested before or not.

You can create accounts for each department, a general account for normal officers or just one account for each officer. I've been using one account per department plus admin accounts for HC members.

Just upload the contents to your server and go to www.domain.com/install, follow the instructions and you're done.

Fields such as Time, Witness, District etc. are optional and not included, you need to create them through the admin panel.

If you need any help setting it up or understanding the way it works, feel free to ask.

It's nice. I'm now making a dutch language (CTRL+C & CTRL+V on 'en')
I'm gonna use this I think. Will this script proceed status ingame? If not, I'll add it myself

It's not edited to work with anything server related. I don't know how hard it's gonna be, but if you want go for it. I'd like to hear about the process though.

I'm just gonna use FTP, so it writes in a map all crimes about users (max shown: 5). So when I fill in the "reason", it'll also edit the userfile, and when a cop uses /getcrime [playerid], he'll see the last 5 crimes. Otherwise, if you use /su [id] [reason], it'll be proceeded on the site too, using the HTTP function <3
I can't send messages ingame via ... Omg or wait I can! With sockets (idk if I can do ClientMessages, but I know I can use rcon "say" command. That won't look really nice (* Admin: blabla). But maybe I can use the "OnRconCommand" in a filterscript that sends a message to all cops (using GetPlayerColor)). Do you understand it?

But is there any way to find another templates? This one's a bit messy

There aren't any templates really, you can modify it yourself though.

p.s.
A better script you could user is "UserCake".
I'm gonna make an "User Control Panel" for users in the new GM (when you register you need to fill in your email. After that you'll receive an email with information to login (API, automatic registering). Then you can delete account, see stats, change password, lock/unlock account (for anti-hack, if you go on holidays or something), Upgrade to VIP (using mollie, so you can pay via phone, SMS, Wallie or Ideal), and so I'm gonna make that Officer Ticket system, but I think I'm gonna do it with Usercake )

p.p.s.
Usercake (www.usercake.com) is a simple user script that's easy to edit, with user levels etc (so only special persons can make tickets. Only the "police officer" group, other persons can't do anything with it, they won't be able to see the "Officers" menu)
