Server visibility problem . HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - HeLiOn_PrImE - 08.02.2011

Hey everyone I have a little problem. I have a hosted server up and running but it's not visible on the internet list.
I checked the possible causes for this but everything seems to be fine with it. Here are the settings:

lanmode 0
announce 1
query 1

Like I said everything is in perfect order but the server is still not visible. I do have to mention the fact that the server is on linux. People are able to connect only if they add the IP to favorites. Any advice would be appreciated...

Remember, in the filtering option you search for the gamemode, not hostname. When you want to search for your server make sure you're not searching for what it says in the first column of the seerlist.

The server has now an year since I've opened it. Due to some problems we changed the host like 3 times. We realised this just now. Several months back we had no problem.

And that website...
I checked the server and is still not on the internet or hosted list.

Have you tried setting different permission for the file announce?

I managed to solve it. the announce was blocked by the host. THx anyway...

You should of contacted them in the first place.
