Hey. I've been playing SA:MP for actually a few years now and I've recently noticed that my ping is incredibly intermittent - it has probably been like that right from the start, but I've only been zooming in on my ping recently.
When I actually click once on a SA:MP server, for example PR:RP because it's in England and I live in Wales, the ping is about 23-25, but of course when I join it it's like 50 (which I can live with) but then goes to like 140 for no reason. This does not happen on any other games. I can play on a Dutch server on BF2 with a ping of like 20 so I have no clue on what's going. I'm not downloading anything on SA:MP, and other people's pings are okay. One of the servers I play on kind of requires a good ping to shoot.
Please help me resolve this issue,

I have ping like 300 but i shoot well, practise lag shoot if ur ping is high

I was playing the server I administrate on, on my OTHER computer and my ping was extremely stable and pretty low, but on the main PC... it goes nuts. Sttttrraaanngggeee.

They are called ping spikes and are common.

As Krx17 mentioned, ping spikes. I face ping spikes on every game a play, well I only play SA-MP and Battlefield Heroes, but still, it's caused by your router/modem/PC or even ISP.(in my case ISP)
