Hi,

as you might noticed the irc server is gone, i find it greatly disappointing since its a good place to just chat or get support

if you guys want i can set up a new irc server for you guys, for free and willing to keep things in control

irc.sa-mp.com refers to irc.focogaming.com, so it does work

There is no irc.sa-mp.com anymore, use irc.focogaming.com

Weird, i used it yesterday without issues...

It says in the log:
Connecting to: irc.sa-mp.com:6667
Connection Established to irc.sa-mp.com
Connection Resolved to: irc.focogaming,com

Your DNS cache was probably just old. The domain may be dead, but I imagine most of the IPs are still the same. When you tried to connect to irc.sa-mp.com, your cache just used the last IP address known for it and it connected just fine.

irc.sa-mp.com is dead. People need to figure that out already. Use irc.focogaming.com instead. I personally use irc.foco.co since I'm in the USA.
