But I port-forwarded.. why cant anyone see it? Also I meant "backround" as in not in the Taskbar, like it is in the Notification Area.

No, it's retrieving info.
Use a Window Manager if it bothers you that much.

2) There is an application that minimizes it to tray. Don't know exactly. I know "Baff" requested it.
