Can't Put my Server Online - Miguel_Teixeira - 23.12.2010

Hi all..
I dont know what is the problem.. I have this problem for YEARS!
I make my server.. I open it and when i insert my IP to add it, he just still offline..
I already opened port 7777 in firewall.. router and modem but nothing!
I was hoping if someone could give me a little help..
I only can connect with 127.0.0.1 but i dont want to do that.. Cause he is only online for me!

Hosting from your home is not as great as it sounds. First off because lets just say you have a terrible storm in your city. Power goes off and what not. That means your server is down till you can put it back online which needs internet access, and power of course.

Also hosting from your home is nearly never 24/7. You may think you can run it for as long as you want but the downside is eventually your computer will burn to death and die a painful explosion. So I recommend purchasing a cheap server from a reliable 99% up time, other then that the community's usually fail from there on out.

If you have a really good pc&internet, that wouldn't be a problem.
