You can also try (Bloodshed) Dev-C++... it doesn't make me feel like smashing my head into the wall.. usually, while MS produces about 10 files each time you just press something. But yet if it's plugin making i haven't found the right place to change export definitions. :/ Unless editing makefile, but still yet plugin SDK seems to be made 70% just for MS VC++.
Btw does it say to update the whole VC++ or is it something like GCC.exe, GPP.exe or any kind of file.. cause that's not quite VC++ fault.

Visual C++ has nothing to do with needing to install a whole IDE like Bloodsheds C++ and GCC is the GNU C compiler which also has nothing to do with it at all it's a different language. What the game is looking for is simply a runtime. Try the below...
Visual C++ 2010:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/e...-37BF0912DB84& Runtimedisplaylang=en
Visual C++ 2008 Runtime:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/e...displaylang=en
