Are there are tutorials I could follow to make a FREE website just to try? I will eventually make a paid website but would like to learn the tricks before I spend money. I would like to use 000webhost and use http://www.phpbb3styles.net/db/style/soul_city this theme.

Can someone give me small steps I could follow?

Try out SMF, they let you create free website's, but you might need to spend some money on the domain, and if you decide to get a domain, try this http://www.crazydomains.com.au/, cheapest one.
