SA:MP Radio (TEST BROADCAST NOW) - Redirect Left - 05.12.2010
So, after a long time of saying we'll return, and not actually returning. We're returning!
To prove it, I even fixed the website, and did some preliminary testing of the setup with a few people I found on IRC.
SA:MP Radio will OFFICIALLY return on Friday 10th December.
As always, we will return with our usual playlists. Which are Top 40 songs, past and present. So if your song was ever a top 40 hit in either the United Kingdom, America, Australia or New Zealand*, request it and we'll see what we can do.
Main Genres are: Rap, RnB, Hip Hop, Dance & Rock. (What the most popular real stations play, generally speaking) - Exceptions will be made for some requests that aren't silly.
This time, we're going to need some cash, we're not rich, and we understand you don't want to pay us for nothing. So we will be installing some software which will run automated adverts for servers every so often. If you're interested in this, let us know by replying here, or with a PM.
I'll post the exact times for the broadcast nearer to the date. But we're hoping that this time, we'll be more popular than before, and its actually worth paying our bills for.

* = We can only easily access the top 40 charts for these countries, and this is where most of our listeners come from anyway.

So... SA-MP Radio is simply a live radio station, but instead of being live on the satellite for people to listen to with a radio, it's streamed over the Internet?

We're also looking for some jingles. If you're good or even 'not that bad' at making them, then feel free to make us a jingle. All it needs to be is "SA:MP Radio" or "This is SA:MP Radio", or a mixture of anything you can think of relating to SA:MP radio.
