ModernTopia and mySQL not working - Spiral - 01.12.2010

Hey folks!

So I got a problem, i have a linux server and I add the sampmysql.so plugin into the plugins folder and libmysql... into the root directory ( where are the samp-server.exe nso.. ) but it doesent load - it says in the log:

[15:50:46]   Failed (libmysqlclient.so.15: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)

Any help please? I've created the directories in the mySQL and so, its just not loading.

It's a permissions thing, make sure the entire SA-MP folder has been CHMODed to 777.

How do I make it? I don't know what is a CHMOD? Thanks, for answering atleast.

While in FTP, you should be able to select everything, then right click and select "permissions". Make sure you make it "recursive"...

This didn't fix the problem, the files have all permissions. Read, use, andstuff. Any other solutions?

You sure about that? Sometimes it's best to just re-do the permissions... I would re-download the MySQL plugin and the libmysqlclient.so.15 file.

I did re-do the permissions. libmysqlclient.so.15 file? it should be libmysqlclient.so file :O Lemme try renaming maybe, but any more solutions?

I don't believe you need to rename it, as my Linux server at Volt-Host uses the same file name. Why don't you switch the plugin to something else?
