Jeesh, this doesn't mean it's closed... it's APB for god sake.
Might have a downtime. And if a company such as APB closes, they will announce it.

Uh guys did you not hear? APB died ages ago, back in September the servers were officially shutdown when Realtime Worlds went backrupt, they recently sold the rights to APB to a free-to-play company who have announced they will re-release it in 2011 as APB: Reloaded as a free-to-play MMO with microtransactions.
