Server Hosting Issues. - BJaxx - 11.11.2010

I have a Dlink router. I looked up on www.portforward.com how to forward
for SA-MP. I looked up many, MANY tutorials on how to do it, I've done them
many times and still I have no luck.

I have my portforward to the following settings:

(only reason why my ip is blurred out is because I posted this originally on the main server I play,
and didn't want to be banned for advertising.)

I have server.cfg set up to port 7777, I type in the correct
IP:Port in SA-MP. But it still wont show up as online.

My Server.cfg file is set to:

echo Executing Server Config...
lanmode 0
rcon_password -secret ;]-
maxplayers 12
port 7777
hostname [Test]
gamemode0 -My GM-
filterscripts -My filterscripts-
announce 1
query 1
weburl N/A
maxnpc 0
onfoot_rate 40
incar_rate 40
weapon_rate 40
stream_distance 300.0
stream_rate 1000

What did I miss?

What about firewall?

Re: Server Hosting Issues. - BJaxx - 11.11.2010

I read a tutorial to try to set up an exception for it..
Didn't work

EDIT-
I turned off the firewall and went to www.canyouseeme.org
and tried a test for port 7777
this is what popped up

Error: I could not see your service on 67.160.126.32 on port (7777)
Reason: Connection timed out

Please help..

Re: Server Hosting Issues. - Calgon - 11.11.2010

You only need UDP, not TCP.

Re: Server Hosting Issues. - BJaxx - 11.11.2010

Switched it to UDP
Still no dice.

I run the server,
check on SA-MP under my IP:Port, and get nothing.

EDIT-
I just realized that when I go to my Dlink Router,
go to portforwarding, and on the first picture you can see
"Computer Name" and a little drag box to the left of it.
If you click the down arrow, you get a list of all the computers
listed to the router. However, I realized that all of the
computers IP's are LOCAL Ip's, not the computer themselves
IP's. (127.0.0.1 or whatever)

Does this mean anything?
Thought it might be a clue.

<_< It's been about two days..I still need help with this.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Re: Server Hosting Issues. - Ruffles. - 13.11.2010

You have to put your port only. Or else, the connection will just loop and possibly crash your server.
Use whatever port like so.
:7777
^Use that because that's your LOCAL IP.

You can just disable your firewall.

Re: Server Hosting Issues. - VIRUXE - 13.11.2010

You need to forward your LOCAL ip address and not your external one!

In my case(and most cases) it would be 192.168.1.102.

Re: Server Hosting Issues. - BJaxx - 13.11.2010

OOOH xD

Thank you ViRuXe ^^
I always thought you forward your external one :P
