Mysql Small Problem - Kyle - 09.11.2010

In my table houses, I have rows called HouseIDD.

Each row has its own number but I need like a function / stock thing to check what was the last valid HouseIDD.

The last valid HouseIDD needs to be saved in a varible for me to use.
