Pawno Compiler starts GTA when compiling. - Danny - 21.10.2010

Hello,
I have posted this topic in Scripting Discussions, but someone told me to post it here.
I have a strange problem. When i try to compile a script, the compile screen will freeze and GTA SA:MP will start?? Yes i know, this is really weird. Can someone help me with this? I have try to reinstall SA:MP, GTA SA, and Pawn, but the problem is still not solved. If you have any suggestions please post them.

when you compile go in the compile menu, and click the one that says Compile. Not the Compile/Run. see if that just compiles it. idk im probably wrong but who cares :P

When you say GTA SA:MP starts, does it try to connect to a server?

you have to rename the samp.exe to something else. SOmehow, the compiler starts samp.exe, and if there is none, it works.
