Hey guys I want to try gta IV. Here are my temporary* pc configs. Intel pentium SU 1.8ghz, 3gb ram, intel GMA 4500M upto 1308mb graphics. I want to knwo if this will work with low settings in the game. SA works great on this with high gfx. Hope anyone helps me out.

*Coz im getting a new computer within 2 weeks. just for now this computer.

Nope. I'm pretty sure it won't work, due to the fact, that i've got a AMD Athlon X2 3000+ with summed up about 6.0GHz and it does just work on my computer with low graphics. Anyway, isn't it worth it trying? Visit this website, to run some tests.

GTA 4 Minimum System Requirements

* Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz or equivalent AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz
* Memory/RAM: 1GB for XP and 1.5GB for Vista
* Video Card: 256MB NVIDIA 7900 or 256MB ATI X1900
* Hard Disk Space: 16GB free
* Operating System: Windows XP SP3 or Windows Vista SP1

I'm not sure what SU is, but I'm afraid GTA IV needs a dual core processor to run.
The rest of your specs are probably on 'purrfect' mode, though.

Jees, it still runs badly with these hardware, gtaiv is so badly done I have double maybe tripple what the minimum is required (Estimate)

And i can run it on medium/high with slight lag. Doesn't seem right to me.

yea i have problems runnin it too
on AMD Athlon II X2 215
2GB(usually 4GB) Ram
and 1GB Nvidia GT9600 Gainward GFX Card

tho it runs smoothly on like low to medium I still even get problems recording and stuff....
and with the movie editor built in I only get to 720...

GTA 4 is just a resource hog, should be called "Grand Theft Auto 4: Resources"
