Hello,
I need to host my forum and i need a .com domain... any recommendations (Yes i am paying for these...)
*I was wondering if i should buy a domain from a site..then ill use it with my free hosting at www.000webhost.com..
However would this mean the site will still work like:
www.site.com/forum/blah
or would it redirect u to?
site.000webhost.com/forum/blah

If your planning to have an community with a lot of users i wouldn't go with free hosting.
GoDaddy has some unique prices on domain registration.

I just plan to have a simple Forum... no website or anything... but i need a .com or something

If your looking for a domain registrar, then go with GoDaddy as they seem to have the best pricing, not to mention an easy to use control panel for editing settings and adding other crap. If your looking for a web-host afterwards, contact me and we'll see what I can do to hook you up. (check my signature)

No problem. I didn't signup for that domain protection stuff, but it's probably a good idea considering you never know what people might do.

Yes, it's a definite must. If you don't and you get someone who is against your community or w/e they can easily leak your home phone, full address etc.
Been there, done that before.
