High security hosting? -

Hi everyone,
the last day we were Hacked i have a rp server hosted in ServerFFS, someone got into our CP shutting down our server and then changing the GM, i asked this issue to ffs support but they said that was my fault having an insecure password that had 12 characteres, anyway i talked with this hacker and he told me that the ffs security is very poor and he has acces to some servers hosted there also he shutted down another server that i know and i talked with the owner and he told me the same history, "we were hacked" so i wanna know a hosting with better security if someone could tell me i would apreciatte it so much.
thanks

It's the password your using, it needs to be more unique. In my opinion, Volt-Host has the best servers and security, but KingJ has some good reviews as well.

the bad thing it is in UK :S and im looking for servers located in usa.

I don't see a difference in the location really, just as long as it's got a decent speed and is reliable. Volt-Host purchased a server in Chicago last week - so I would give them a shot. I may be able to host you on my VPS, but you won't have any access at all for another week as I'm still setting shit up. If you want me to host you, add me on MSN. (realcop228@live.com)

You could also use a password that isn't 'password1234'

The best password should be something like this: 9d€#Fg90 - write it up somewhere password-protected or a simple place where you hide it into the text. Its the simple solution for not getting hacked.

When you get hacked, you immediately change your passwords. ServerFFS's security isn't the best, but it isn't horrid. I don't like ServerFFS, not one bit, but it isn't their fault, so they aren't going to help you - leave if you don't like it. You should have a secure password, something more than 8 characters, mine are up there and I've never been hacked (that I can remember). So seriously, stop complaining and whining!

Start with a nice long password, use variations in caps, throw in some numbers and maybe some symbols.
Don't use the password anywhere else.
Don't tell the password to anyone you don't trust.
any security system with a password is only as strong as the password you pick, and the people you give it to.
Someone tried to brut force my rcon password ( before 0.3b ) and did nothing but create a 4gig log file.
