Quick NPC tuts? - DarrenReeder - 14.10.2010

Hey,

Ive never used NPC's before (didnt really see the point of them when they started i 0.3).. but i want to add a NPC that just stands in one position and responses to a command.. (it talks when you say a command...)..

Any quick tutorials out there for creating NPC's ? (i dont want to look through the already-made ones because ill just mess it up, lol)
