You can't connect to a server you are hosting on the same computer, with the external IP.
You have to use IP 127.0.0.1 (with w/e port you use) which is local, and will only work for you.

And if you want other players to join be sure to open your ports at your router.

dud i usaly connect on that ip on my server and then it works but now i can't ow and ehm i already portforwardet the ports to :7777 the forward ip is::::::
83.160.143.10:7777(if i'm correct)
sow i dont know what it could be! pls help

jst click on add on favourites and type :7777 and run server

What about calming down? no? this is a support forum flaming each others will not resolve the problem....

Do you have any firewall enabled? Are you sure you forwarded your port decently? Do you have a dynamic IP? Maybe your IP address changed. ( You can check what is the IP at www.whatsmyip.org )
To connect to your server however you should use your local IP ( 127.0.0.1:7777 )
