hey , anyone knows a good free avi to gif converter? i need a program like that fast .....
but a free one and without stupid watermarks on the final gif <3

lol avi is a movie file isnt it?
You cant convert it to a picture file like gif..

Okay, ma fault.
But is the .gif then very big after converting?
Or, do you know a converting programm by name, may i can get a full edition for you.

I use a software called CyberLink PowerDirector. Its simple to edit a movie and you can also save it as a .gif file
I also think you can do it in almost every video editor like Sony Vegas

Photoshop has built-in AVI support (at least I'm pretty sure it's AVI), just open the file like normal and mess around with it in the animation window. And to save your gif, use "Save for Web & Devices" rather than just "Save As".
