How much memory does your server use? - VIRUXE - 28.09.2010
Today I was wondering how much memory my server was using and went looking for values...
My windows server is using only a unfinished gamemode with like 2000 lines and only 2 or 3 timer, using the mysql (G-Stylezz's one) and IRC (Incognito) plugin along with the irc filterscript, MidoStream filterscript and a base filterscript to handle all my objects (124 objects).
With no-one playing, the task manager says the server is using a total of 87.060K and a little application I put together just to read the memory usage every second from the samp-server.exe process says it's using 91.852K.
What do you poeple think about these values? Are they too much for what I'm running or are they just good?
The just out of the box samp-server from the R2 server package running grandlarceny only uses 8.392K according to the task manager and 12.320 according to my app.
Also, post your own values just to compare memory usages.

35-50 MB @ 60 players (no NPCs, ~10.000 objects, plugins = sscanf2,streamer,irc)

Just noticed that my server, (don't know by what reason) drastically decreases memory usage when a player connects. It just drops to ~2000K.
Also how much memory does your server "add" when a player connects/logins?
Mine uses 84-88K

20mb, rounded by 1000 not 1024. so about 18

Servers do not usually much as you can tell, unless you running something highly intensive!
Other than that, you should be fine.

im running my server on a old laptop i only use it for that an my other one to play on lol so dont lagg n shit :P
