Like if you are in a fire truck you can change the traffic light color like in new york

E.g. to control the traffic via script, improve race starts, detecting if someone went thorugh red (if you can set it, you can also get it), ...
But as you said, it is not possible. Maybe it could be added in later versions, at least the lights are already synced.
