Updating Problem -
Taz86 - 09.09.2010
Good day to all..
Ive bought a host on Deluxe Co. And all works fine and etc..
Im very happy with it.
But, since 0.3b is out, Deluxe is still on the 0.3a Version, And it wont let me update my server to 0.3b..
This is really annoying, I didnt got any mails about updating or other..
I opened this Topic, To ask if anyone have this problem, or had and fixed it..
I really want my server to be in the 0.3b Version..
Thank you,
Tal.

Contact their (non-existent) support or move to a proper host.

You can try replacing the samp-server.exe + the announce.exe using ftp and it will make ure server 0.3b.

I don't think you can upload .exe's to a host, FTP Usually block's it. However you can get around it with a .rar, though that's a hole.

That seems... dangerous that you can upload.exe's. I can only imagine.

Hosts allow plugins to be uploaded. That's just as dangerous, if not even more.

Infact no, I myself don't allow plugins, they need to come on support to ask for it to be used, We then check it.
Same with KingJ, and some other ones.

Oh, you compile it on your machines? You check all of the source code for custom written plugins? You decode hex tables?
