Open commandopromt (cmd) and type ipconfig. Then there's a adress called IPv4-adress, copy and paste it it into your SA-MP favorites. Then go to myip.com or something, and give your friend that adress. Open your server.cfg and change lanmode to 1, then you when you open your server, you should be able to play both.

Re: Need help in hosting - Windows7 - 03.09.2010

hey men i think i know what the problem is in windows xp open up your firewall and add the port 7777 and name it what ever you like..... in vista/windows7 (Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall) and on the left click
"advanced settings" then click on "inbound rules" then on the other side click on "New Rule" then click "Port" Next> select the "UDP"(that's the port name that should be the same as the name that you selected in your port forwarding thing) and type 7777 then NEXT>NEXT> NEXT> name it sa-mp or anything then your done it should work
