dudb vs. fwrite - Claude - 24.08.2010

What do you prefer, and what is faster?

Re: dudb vs. fwrite - Nonameman - 24.08.2010

I'm using dudb, and it's more faster than fwrite.

Re: dudb vs. fwrite - Claude - 24.08.2010

Uhm.. You must use sscanf/dcmd with it or not?

Re: dudb vs. fwrite - Nonameman - 24.08.2010

No, just if you want.

Re: dudb vs. fwrite - Claude - 24.08.2010

Then might I ask, why if I add
pawn Код:
#include <dutils>
I get
pawn Код:
C:\Users\XXX\XXXX\XXXXXXXXXXX\filterscripts\admin.pwn(919) : error 047: array sizes do not match, or destination array is too small
* 26

Re: dudb vs. fwrite - Nonameman - 24.08.2010

Hmm, I do not really know it. But when you add sscanf/dcmd, this error message disappears?

Re: dudb vs. fwrite - Claude - 24.08.2010

Dunno, am not using it, I am using strtok, might that be the problem?

Re: dudb vs. fwrite - Nonameman - 24.08.2010

Maybe, try it out in a new script, with some functions

Re: dudb vs. fwrite - Claude - 24.08.2010

Ye well, strtok became quite slow, gotta edit around 2500 lines into dcmd which will take a lot of time, but I only care if it will become faster
Had to tab more than 3000 times once (1000 lines lack of intending skills :P)

Re: dudb vs. fwrite - _[HuN]_Epsilon_ - 24.08.2010

dudb uses fwrite too.

If you just want to write something to a file use fwrite and if you need a complete file and account system use dudb.
