[CMS] Your opinions? - Conroy - 23.08.2010

Hi all, I am thinking about starting a CMS project. What do you think?

Will include:

• Information pages about your server
• Ability to administrate your server in an AdminCP (lift bans, create/delete users, view warnings etc etc)
• Ability for users to login/create an account which will be used on your server and change their settings (skin etc)
• Fully customizable pages

I have never scripted a CMS from scratch, only edited a few. I am not promising anything but if everyone likes the idea I will give it ago.

Suggestions would be nice.

Sounds like a nice idea. Just make it functional first, and then work on the eye-candy.

For an admin panel, yes.

Not for users, it's extremely time wasting why would they want to exit the game and set there skin and rejoin like they do in LS-RP.

Theres really no need.

Content Management System, in other words, the ability to control your server from a website and view player stats.

I will make options if they want the user side involved.
