Deleting text from textfiles - RedFusion - 18.08.2010

Hey, I am working on a crash-safe Cw.
And when someone's connection crashes it writes their status and name in a txt file. like "STATUS1 %s"
If "homer" reconnects for example, how do i delete that line that was made during his crash?

What functions is there?
