I would suggest a package or Internet protection including everything...firewall,anti-virus,anti-spam,anti-phishing,etc..

Panda IE2011,Kaspersky 2010 or NOD32..prices for 1 pc is 20 euros or something..

Its pretty good really, at the store I work at fixing computers and such we have just about all major software internet security's and anti-virus's, I would say Spyware Doctor with anti-virus is not the best like Kaspersky but it does the job alot better than Norton or McAfee and AVG and such.

Ive used Spyware Doctor a few times to help clean out PCs of my with spyware it can do a lot with Windows XP I find to at least get your computer to load up without lots of popup's and other crap other programs don't notice, Its also updated lots but of course most are I give it like a 7/10.

But last time Ive used it was a few years ago some of my clients use it at the store i work at they seem to say its good and never lets them down lol.

Its just all up to you to decide whats best for you mainly, I normally explain to each person that walks in asking about Security and Anti-Virus's the difference between them, What do you plan to do?, If gaming and mid/low end PC I suggest McAfee or AVG if high end PC and your still doing gaming than I suggest Kaspersky with Spyware Doctor pretty much both of them together if no gaming than i suggest it as well I never suggest Norton though i really hate it.
