Hello,
I have tried to download SA-MP, but when I come to the point where I need to choose the folder with my exe folder in my C: drive, I choose it; the button at the bottom that says install... Doesnt come up even though I have choosen the destination of my exe file. I need help, thanks.
I am running on Windows 7 64-bit, 320GB Hard drive, 3GB, AMD sempron SI-42 ~2.1GHz, DirectX 11.
I have tried patching it down to 1.0 but, there is not destination to patch, so my exe is probaly 1.0

The initial install will search the registry for the GTA:SA installation. If it finds it, it will automatically add it. However, if your registry doesn't appoint to the correct directory it won't go on.
The default path for GTA:SA is 'C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\'. If you changed it, I cannot find it for you. Appoint your SA:MP client to your current directory which holds GTA:SA. I forget if you need to click on the executable itself or not, but try just appointing it to the directory. If it still won't accept, click on the gta_sa.exe file.
If that doesn't work, a cropped picture of the problem will help. As I believe that's what you're saying.

-I have clicked the destination of my exe file which is the excat destination they give at the start, but If I do it manually to the dictionary of my exe file; it still doesnt work. I can't also click on my exe file since your are not able to click on files while choosing, since it only shows folders. I think I may be missing some registry files.
-How do I do that, I am new as you can see... GAH.

You don't need registry files to install SA:MP. The registry keys pretty much contain the installation directory, the executable, uninstall, and sometimes other things.
I just went and reinstalled it to see the problem. Go to the root directory of your GTA:SA installation folder.
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas
If this doesn't work a picture would be nice.

Something I overlooked the first time. Try and right click -> run as administrator if the other method fails.

I don't recognize the 'W' characters with the strike. It may just be your character set, but I don't know..
Try placing this as is in the input box.
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\

I have fixed it, I am now using .rar instead of .exe file.
