im making a new smf site shoudl i use my database where my files for my server is stores and stuff or create a new one

There's nothing I can agree or disagree and give a example besides security. It wouldn't really matter, where you would install it. Personally, I installed my SMF forum on a separate database for security reasons. But besides that , there shouldn't be a problem.
