SA-MP Loads up single player - joshyskey - 03.08.2010

Ok, so my friend is having a problem with his san andreas multiplayer. He has setup samp and GTA SA many times and still gets the same problem, that is that the game loads up singleplayer rather than samp. I have looked for hours on the net and all i can seem to find is that either he is searching in the wrong directory for the file, or that he has the wrong version of san andreas. Well they are not the problem. The game is definatly v1 as we have used the patcher and i have gave him my own gta_sa.exe file. and we have also made sure that the destination folder is set correctly. I have nowhere else to go and would like to know what to do?

P.S: he has re-installed sa-mp and san andreas many times.

P.P.S: I know there are many threads about this, but there are no answers that help me. If you think there is please link me.

are you download the gtasa from the same place if you are try mine and delete gta user files
