Try to open SA:MP as a Administrator. Maybe it works.

Are you sure you're checking the right directory?
Make sure you check the folder where the samp.exe is located.

Also, are you taking pictures with the camera? Or pressing F8?
If you're taking pictures with the camera, it saves to the folder 'Gallery Photo's' or something like that in the 'San Andreas User files' directory in 'My Documents'.

If you're pressing F8 then it should save to the gta sa directory where the samp is.

You need to run samp as an administrator. What might be happening is your samp client is being blocked from putting pictures in the dirrectory. Try the /save command and see if that works, if not it is definitly windows blocking it.

Works just fine for me.
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit and it saves to C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas.

You do not have to run it as administrator. I've never done that.
See my solution. I didn't have this problem when I ran vista, I guess it's only Win 7. But here's how to solve:

Here we go:

Kompatibilitetsfiler = compatibility files
If it's not there, there's something wrong with your samp. lol.
