GTA IV in Linux Gnome - salehyassin - 22.06.2010

I was just thinking of installing GTA IV in Linux Mint,

Now it is almost at the half of the installation.
I am using a new Windows Emulator similar to wine. I will soon post the source for it if the game works. I have modified the program to use Software Graphics and not only Directx. I hope it works.

I am interested in seeing your results. I tried this last night but failed. IV installed fine, but wouldn't run.

Yes, I have tried using wine. But it didn't work. But now I modified wine's source code to allow using Software 3D witch may allow the game to run.

I am using the stream version of GTA:IV. I updated Wine to the PPA version, now I can't install stream.
