Well the specifications are fine but it doesn't give any info on upload speed? But im guessing its a hosting service so yeah.

Yes, that should be fine. Just make sure that your connection/upload is 100MBIT or above.

If they have DDoS Server protection it should be around 100mbit right?

Depending on how much stuff you're syncing, you may exceed that 4TB limit if you've got nearly 500 players on most of the time. However, looking at the number of existing servers that have super high player counts, you should be fine for now. Any good host will let you upgrade/downgrade bandwidth allowance later on.

The only thing there that seems a bit odd is that the OS is 32-Bit yet you have 8GB RAM. The memory limit of Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition 32-Bit is 4GB according to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...VS.85%29.aspx. I would suggest a 64-Bit OS instead.

AS pulled off 500/500 with the following specs:
Intel Quadcore Q6600
4GB DDR2 Ram
1TB SATA (non-RAID)
3TB/month bandwidth quota
100Mb up/down
Ubuntu linux
Your specs are well beyond that server. I'm just curious how well Windows would handle 500/500 since no other SA:MP server has a proven 500/500 breakthrough.
