HELP!!! FIRST TIME PLAYING!!! - Odyssey - 09.06.2010

Hello,

Ive just built a computer and wanted to play some games online, so I went out and bought SA. And I watched some videos on *******, thats when I found out I could play it online. But I want to know how, e.g. Do I have to download a Plug-In for SA, and do I need to know a server IP or is there a list of servers what you can play online as soon as you log on.

Here are my specs:

Windows XP
250GB Hard Drive
1GB Memory
2.8 GHz AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core
DVD Drive

There is an list of servers
"internet" - Full of Spam Servers
"hosted" - Best of all

1) http://sa-mp.com/download.php - Download SA:MP
2) Install SA-MP
3) Open up samp.exe
4) Click on 'hosted' or 'internet'.
5) Under favourites you can click on a green arrow on the top. Then it comes up with a little box. In that box write a server IP "***.***.**:**** You can check out "Server Advertisments" forum to find some IP's or servers.
