SA-MP crashes on startup but Singleplayer works fine -
KB - 21.05.2010
Hello
I got a problem with my Grand theft auto, here's what I've tried:
- Reinstalling
- Deleting every folder after uninstalling (Rockstar Games directory and Grand theft auto user files directory)
- Deleted gta.set
- Uninstalled SA:MP a few times and reinstalled them.
But none of these ways seems to work, it would be nice if any of you had a soloution.
Since it's only SA-MP that doesn't work it might be something that got added in the other directories, for example "windows" directory, which doesn't get uninstalled when uninstalling SA:MP.

Make sure you have used the downgrade patch.

Try running in compatibility mode? (Win98 usually works, in case it doesn't just try everything)

Ye, I know that should work perfectly but no, I am not going to re-install whole windows because of that. I will try some other things.
Well I got Windows XP service pack 3 installed and not service pack 2. Does it make any effect?
